One piece, adjustable, OEM- get the stance you're looking for at a price you could live with.

So many kids are concerned with rims and body kits, but completely ignore the visual effects suspension components offer their rides. Furthermore, the right set up can help improve performance, as certain kits are designed with the art of racing in mind.

To help get a better sense of what's out there, check out this list of some great suspension brands. With different shocks, springs, bags and coils to adjust the feel and height of your ride, these brands offer just what you need to fulfill your desires.

Kicking off this list is a brand that I'm quite familiar with- TEIN. TEIN offers several different set-ups. With one-piece, two-piece and fully-adjustable coilover offers, you'll be sure to find the right fit for your needs. They also have different offerings depending on if your build is for the street or the track. Find full packages for under $500, significantly less than some of the biggest names in performance parts.

Speedtech is an American brand, so everything is manufactured in your own backyard. These components are typically used on performance muscle car builds, so expect a lot of kits that are fitted for Fords, Chevys and Chryslers. They have a good reputation in the AutoX scene, and are very reasonably priced... definitely worth a shot.

BLOX is another brand well-recognized in the AutoX scene. Typically targeted towards Hondas, BLOX offers a great aftermarket alternative for a fully adjustable suspension system. Get the slammed look just as easily as you can get the track set up at ease. Get a great deal on some quality parts.

Rokkor offers an affordable line of coilovers for relatively any make or model. Domestic, JDM, Euro and more, Rokkor has the adjustable coilovers to fit your build. They're high in quality and low in price- what more could you need? Check out some of their kits for as low as $300 for an entire set.

When you're looking to really solidify your build, keep suspension in mind. Components can get expensive, so it's great to know you can get quality parts even if you're not spending big bucks on the premium brands.
